A lot of people have more energy when fasting. Dirty fasting (broth) will provide protein, so you’re unlikely to have the side effects sometimes seen with pure fasting. If fasting >24 hours, make sure you’re taking electrolytes. And considering the heat, keep in mind that you’ll need extra water - which can flush away electrolytes, so you might need more, particularly sodium. Considering the job, I’d keep a snack on hand/nearby. I don’t think you’ll have any issues considering the broth, but just in case, you’ll want something available in case you need to break the fast.
