I’ve been doing IF since January and have had really great results! I was keeping up with 16/8 pretty easily until this past week. My time of month is coming up very soon and I just feel like I’m starving constantly! Usually I cut off my eating time at about 7pm but I’ve been snacking into 10-11pm on a lot of sweets. Does anyone else ever get these strong urges to binge outside of your feeding time? If so, how do you curb those cravings?
Take a look at this video! So helpful in realizing why I had such a hard time sticking to my fast before my period! I follow this now and fasting is so much easier and I can go longer fasts when I time them right! Best of luck!
Oh yes!! I try to adjust my eating window to later and if that doesn’t work I’ll sip a big big cup of tea. If none of those things work and I end up snacking, hey, it’s not the end of the world, I feel satisfied and tomorrow is a new day. As long as these times are exceptions and don’t turn into an everyday thing :)
Simply, yes. I figure because my diet consists of fasting, in general opposed to the average 3+meal person, I don’t consider the little extra here and there as overindulgence. I find balancing IF with listening to your body works itself out quite synergistically.
