Losing the last 20lbs...

5’7’’, 157lbs.

Looking to lose last 15-20lbs. Just knock it out with 48s? OMAD on a 1000 cal deficit (pls a 48 each week)?

I’m moderately active, 12k steps a day, calisthenics, some mild lifting.

Depends, what’s your bf %?

I’m working on my last 15-20 lbs now, doing about the same exercise reg as you but I’ve been holding up with 5-7 day fasts until I get to about 13% bf (currently at 20%) then I’ll stick to 48’s until I’m done.

Also at the last 15-20 lbs. Also at about 12-15k steps a day, I lift 5 days a week, I do Cole’s tiny meals regimen, I basically split a large can of vegetables across 2 meals and eat a patty or a can of sardines with each meal. No way is this over 800-1000 cal a day. My TDEE according to my fitness watch is about 2100. Hoping to be shredded by end of May.

Answer

I like OMAD because I have something to look forward to everyday and can eat with my family, it is something easier to stick to than extended fasts and something I can commit to longer as there aren’t any irritability or side effects and requires you to deal with food prep. Regardless of your method, I bet it will melt off. I gained weight happily stuffing my face during quarantine and my stats are the same rn. Solidarity, as I am also looking to lose 20lbs of fat. OMAD always works but 48s are nice for discipline and digestion.
