Answer

In addition to the others who commented: no. You’ll lose more nutrients boiling vegetables in water, due to nutrients leeching into the water, than you will microwaving vegetables.

Now, some vitamins, like vitamin c, will degrade rapidly when heated, but this will happen regardless of how you’re cooking the veg. You won’t lose all nutrients, but some will degrade. Other nutrients, like vitamin a, will be made more bioavailable.

Answer

There are some concerns with microwaves. I try to cook as natural as possible with natural, whole, real ingredients.

Some studies show microwaves have some potentially negative effects. I’m sure some will roll their eyes, but I’m used to it 😂
