I’ve been doing 16/8 for several months now and I’ve stuck with it. I still get very hungry at the 14-16 hour mark. I’ve even increase my fat and protein intake this week. I’ve had a ribeye steak every day. I would think I would be used to this by now and that my hunger would stabilize. Is this normal to be having such hunger after all of this time?
I get that way when I don’t eat enough variety. Maybe your body is craving something different? It’s not scientific but I noticed that about myself. Try switching it up instead of eating steak everyday. Also fiber helps so maybe some fiber rich veggies.
So - it’s interesting because a lot of people always recommend increasing fat and protein to help keep full longer, but I find that if I have a low-carb day I am absolutely FAMISHED the next day. I nearly always have carbs - bread, potatoes, rice, pasta, etc.. when I don’t I really struggle it seems. Might be something to look into if you eat more low-carb?
