i try to remember that hunger & cravings aren’t cumulative— they come in waves and then they pass. helps me a lot to remember that the feeling is only temporary and i’ll probably feel better in 20 minutes! then i sip some water & distract myself with work or a short walk or some silly youtube videos.good luck!!

I like to drown hunger. A liter of water, downed rapidly, tends to do it nicely for me. Tough for me to want to eat anything with a belly full of sloshing water.

Also, keeping myself super busy or changing scenery (different floor of the house, going for a walk, etc) really helps me

I made a calendar that shows the days I’m going to eat and what I’m going to eat on those days (mostly all OMAD keto except for one “indulgence” day at the end of the month when we will go to the movies and eat popcorn and maybe have a sub or something). Looking at the calendar makes it not seem like so long before my next meal…and mentally it’s easier to tough it out. This seems to work better for me than having an hour countdown app.
