My plan, would appreciate some feedback

I am new to this and am looking to lose weight and improve my gut, skin and hair health

I am 22F with hypothyroidism.

My plan:

Fasting from 8:30 pm to 9:30 am - 13 hours

After waking up - warm lemon water

9: 30 am - Breakfast - Almonds, Omlet with seeds

Iced Coffee

1 pm - Lunch - 1 bowl rice and green veg/leafy curry

Green Tea

– Exercise –

Roti + Chicken

8 pm - Fruit

Snack in between - popcorn or dry fruits

Definitely not going to follow the exact times lol, but yeah smtg closer to this.

Congratulations on starting. In order to get full benefits of fasting- you have to clean fast- that means only have water, or black coffee or tea without sugar or sweeteners or honey when fasting. This also means no chewing gum, or diet drinks. if you are going to fast from 830 pm to 930 am- it means no snacks after 830 and no lemon and honey before your breakfast at 930 am. If you want to have lemon and honey- you can open your window by having it at 930- then have your breakfast. Honey will break your fast because it will trigger insulin production. 13 hours is a good starting point, and you can build your fasting muscle gradually. However, try to increase your fasting window gradually to be at least 16 hours and above. That’s when you will start to see results in terms of weight loss and other health benefits. Good luck. I like all the advice given.

I’ll add that eventually you’re better off just eating 3 meals, no snacks (less insulin surges).

Also, maybe reduce your carbs. Yeah … less rice more low carb veggies. The more carbs you eat during your eating window, the hungrier you are outside your eating window.
