first sorry for my English , might not be perfect, im from Quebec , Canada. I’m 35 yrs old , 5foot10 , 179LBS , 22% body fat (my scale tells me this)
I used to fast 1-2 year ago but just read some more on the subject and that I was doing it wrong. I had some nice results , but at this time I drank a bit too much and had too much cheat. Also I was taking my whey protein shake after my workout which I read, broke my fast.
Now that I’m more serious into this I want to try to do it the right way. I’ve been doing since 5-6 weeks 6 meals a day with macros and tracking about what’s going into my body , with only 1-2 cheats meals and alcohol only Friday and Saturday night and the others days super strict. (I know alcohol might slow down a bit my results , but when from 7 days a week to only 2 evening so that’s a start)
I have some results but I find that I might get a lot more with intermittent fasting and of course , less meals prep so more adaptive to by work schedule.
Here is my work and fast routine I’m going to do and also my meals plan , tell me if its ok to have some nice results (Main idea is to shred fast get leaner and build muscle (don’t want to be big bodybuilder , just wanna be cut and lean): I work out 5-6 times a week.
Wake up 6:30 for kids , school etc.
work out 8am to 9am then go to work.
1PM , post work out meal (biggest meal)
4PM , second meal
6PM , third meal small
8PM-9PM, Healthy Snack + Whey
The reason for having 4 lunch is for having less craving and I don’t want to eat too much for one lunch and also I’m a gamer so I usually game until midnight , and before I was taking bad decision around 10PM (quick junk food)

1PM : 200g Steak , 125g Basmati Rice , 75g Brocoli , 100g Cucumber (771Cal / 31,8 Fat / 57.4 Protein / 54 Carb)
4PM : 200g Chicken beat , 100g sweet potatoes, 75g brocoli, 40g allegro cheese(545 cal/11gFat/79g Protein/ 29g carb)
6PM : 85g canned tuna, 2 tablespoon light mayo, 100g cucumber, 50g zucchini(224 cal/11,5F,/16,5Protein/13.1 carb)
8PM: 1 scoop whey , 40g go lean cereal , 1 cup almond milk unsweetened (324cal/7.8fat/33protein/31.5 carb)
Total : 1864 cal / 62Fat / 186 protein / 126 carb

So I’ll be fasting from 8-9PM to 12-1PM , having a little amino cuts for a boost in the morning.
Tell me what you guys think about it , I’ve read a lot of intermittent fasting for afternoon or evening workout , but my job allow me to have times to train the morning and I love it. So I wanna know if this adapt well and If Im going to shred that fat with all the efforts I’m doing!

It seems like you’re eating healthy. So as long as you stay on a calorie deficit and stick to your eating window then you’ll eventually lose weight. Not sure about the alcohol consumption, but as long as you don’t binge on the weekends as a “reward” for staying healthy on the weekdays then I guess it’s fine. I’m not an expert, also just a newbie myself. Just do what you think is best and you’ll be seeing the results eventually
