Night shift fasting schedule

I am an RN and I am going to be working nights soon. My shift is 7pm-7am but ill be awake from 4:30/5:00pm till 9am (the window of time I am actually awake including the time it takes for me to get ready for work then come back home & get ready to go back to sleep)

Was wondering if there are any night shift workers here and if they have routine down?

I am open to any and all routines relating to nights or that lifestyle so that I can see which routine might work for me.

Thank you 😊

Hi! So I do continental shift works days and nights. I generally just so OMAD or a 20:4 fasting schedule and find that works best for me. OMAD is easier since you can just eat whenever your break is at night. Hope that helps! Any questions your welcome to message me :)

Midwife, I work days and nights, 12’s. I find it easiest to keep my same eating times(12 noon to 7pm) regardless of what shift i am working, but I only work 2 shifts a week. On my night shifts, I eat before my shift. I do not eat at work. Makes potlucks a bummer, but I make a nice plate and eat when my window opens. The hardest part is the 4-5 am sleepiness, combined with being cold and hungry. Power on though, it is worth it! Feel free to pm me.
