Noob question

Is intermittent dry fasting doable long term, between 20-22 hours of feeding window and does it have good benefit on terms of healing aswell? I think i am quiet prediabetic, not overweight, iam lean and i do have muscle, but i had bad eating habbits with sugar shit. I feel dry fasting is very easy.

Answer

Hard to say dry fasting isn’t great to do for any amount of time. It is great to do. But if this 1 meal you have still had sugar that dry fast was not worth it.

The key with dry fasting is it kicks you in ketosis quicker and nothing kills ketosis more than sugar.

I think you should stop all sugar consumption and do 1 24 hour dry fast then mix that with bigger eating windows like 18-6. Your not overweight so the 1 dry fast day mixed with IF and 0 sugar you will be doing great!

Try French vanilla stevia drops in place of sugar. Works for me. Best of luck
