Looking for advice about regular weigh-ins. This is my first real go at IF and I was a daily weigh-er prior. It’s so discouraging. Should I try and mentally prepare for once a month weigh ins? How do you go so long without checking?
I always think once a month is healthy as your weight can fluctuate so much depending on water weight, hormones etc. I weigh myself the first Sunday of every month and take body measurements as well, so I can compare inches loss as well as any weight loss. In between weigh ins I always see how my clothes fit, there are a pair of shorts I still can’t quite fit into and I use them as a marker.
