Please help

I have been IFing for a few months and have lost about 40lbs. As of late I have noticed that I have a change in stool shape and consistency. My stools are usually mush or small flat pieces. I have tried having more fiber, eliminating certain foods to no avail. Recently I have developed a burning feeling on my right upper abdomen. Liver and gallbladder all normal after blood work and ultrasound. Anyone else having something similar?

Answer

It sounds like you may be experiencing some digestive issues as a result of your intermittent fasting. It’s not uncommon for changes in diet to affect bowel movements and digestion. It’s important to listen to your body and make adjustments as needed. It’s also important to seek medical advice if you’re experiencing any pain or discomfort. Some people may find that certain types of intermittent fasting work better for them than others. It might be worth experimenting with different methods to see what works best for you, and consulting with a healthcare professional before making any significant changes to your diet.
