I have been doing ADF for 2 months now and I have been eating LCHF (lots of dairy) - could the dairy be the reason my skin isn’t clearing up? I feel great, I’ve lost 20kg now and my energy is amazing. Even now while I’m actually 45 hours into my first ever 3 day fast.
Could be the dairy. Could also be the fat. I’ve seen several people on youtube say they switched from HFLC to HCLF plant based to help heal their skin. They had cystic acne on the high fat diet.
But could try cutting dairy out first to see if that helps.
very likely dairy. i thought i had hormonal acne in my teens, then i cut out dairy and it went away.
try cutting dairy for 2 months and see. (imo things with less than 20% dairy are fine, as long as you don’t eat it in very large quantities).
Best thing I ever did for my skin was stop drinking cows milk. My theory is that cows milks purpose is to grow a little baby calf into a massive cow - so it’s full of hormones that can wreak havoc on your skin.I’m lucky in that I usually am alright with a little bit of cheese - but too much definitely causes a flare up too.
