For the last 4 years I’ve been fasting by skipping breakfast. That usually means I fast 16-18 hours every day. 3 days ago I skipped dinner (I was really busy and kinda forgot) and just had lunch and realized the day after I haven’t eaten in 24h. So I kept on going and I’m now on day 2 of just eating lunch. I feel fine. A bit hungry come bedtime but other than that no downside so far. Im not that we’ll read on fasting I just did it because it suites my lifestyle and apatite. Are there any benefits to fasting 24 hours every day? Or downsides?
The hardest thing to do is when you decide to eat again, not to binge. If you spend a lot of time fasting, or even going OMAD for a while, suddenly breaking that routine with a lot of food in one sitting, can really throw off your stomach.
