Sugar free creamer ok?

I’ve been doing intermittent fasting for about 2 days now and I’ve been drinking a lot of decaf coffee throughout the day. My morning routine is usually two shots of espresso and then throughout the day I drink nothing but water and decaf coffee. The issue is that I can’t drink black coffee straight, it makes me gag and I can’t stand the bland taste. I understand that calories of any kind are pretty much forbidden through a fast and creamer is usually not recommended for coffee. However, I wanted to know whether or not store brand sugar-free creamer would be acceptable during my fast? I’m just unable to drink black coffee straight, according to the nutritional facts, it’s about 15 calories per tablespoon. Two or three tablespoons should be sufficient enough for my coffee

>sugar-free creamer

Not sure what brand you’re considering but I bet it still has HFCS and/or sucralose as ingredients. I guarantee, no matter the brand, “sugar-free creamer” is garbage that will trigger insulin and break your fast.

Switch to blonde/light roast coffee! Before fasting, I loved to drink rich dark roast coffee with cream. When I tried drinking that coffee black, I hated it. It was too bitter. When I started drinking blonde roast coffees, which are more tart and refreshing, I started liking black coffee.
