Will sugar free coffee creamer throw me out of my fast?

So I have been fasting 24 hours every 2 days for the past month but am trying to go for a full 5 days this week. Going on 38 hours now. I love my coffee in the morning and have switched over to sugar free coffee-mate creamer per my keto diet. It has 15 or less calories per serving, zero sugar, less than 1g of fat, non dairy, 5mg of sodium and less than 1 carb.

My question is, will this cause my fast to break? Am I messing up my entire fast with my single morning cup of coffee? I am willing to get used to black coffee but I love that hazelnut flavor in the morning. Other then this I am taking in zero calories, drinking plenty of water with electrolyte supplements, and if I feel desperate I take a small sip of sugar free Gatorade since it basically has zero calories per serving. ( I figure a sip is basically nothing as an entire bottle is 15 calories.)

Any advice on this is appreciated. I have already lost 20lbs since Feb started by doing keto and fasting. I am 5’6”, was 197lbs and today I weigh 174lbs. I am still considered overweight and obese until I get to my healthy weight of 140-145lbs. 30 lbs to go! I believe I finally can do this. But let me know about the creamer please.

Have a great day!

Answer

it may technically break your fast according to strict water fasting standards but i personally have 3 espressos with heavy cream in the morning when i fast (or make a homemade almond/coconut creamer) and feel that the benefits outweigh the downside. having this in the morning is psychologically satisfying and gives me energy and other physiological benefits. it is better to me to do a 7 day fast with coffee than to not do one at all. you will absolutely stay in ketosis (unless you have really intense insulin response i guess from it seeming sweet??) and lose weight with this method. i test myself every day i fast and have never been kicked out of ketosis by my creamer. if your number #1 reason to fast was to get the benefits of autophagy i would maybe advise you to try to cut this out, but if you are just fasting for weight loss i wouldnt expect this to make much of a difference (or increase your hunger) … i am not a doctor though and these are all just my opinions :)
