Ignoring the obvious negative health effects of vaping, I’m wondering if it would make fasting easier or more difficult. Traditional cigarettes are known to suppress appetite, but then would the small insulin bump caused by the flavoured oils in a vape end up increasing hunger? Does anyone have any experience with this?
I notice a difference in flavors. If I’m vaping a sweet or fruity flavor my appetite is normal, some cravings and stomach rumbles.
If I’m vaping a menthol flavor, my appetite it absolutely gone. Nothing makes you want to eat less than a cold minty throat.
Yeah I don’t think so, I have a pretty bad vaping habit and I cut all the way down to <5% BF in the fall. Caffeine and nicotine keep my nerves going through extended fasts 🤷 I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone but they don’t seem to hinder process
