What did I do wrong during my 8 days fast?

So, today I have finished my fast, first 4 days were absolutely fine. I could exercise and I did a lot of walking. I studied electrolytes 101 very carefully, so I was taking: — 1 magnesium pill 300mg — 3-4 g Potassium — 1 tsp of sodium — Multivitamin

On the day 5 I started feeling a bit tired and low energy. I must say I started electrolytes only from the day 4 or so. Also I had an issue with sodium, since it was really hard for me to drink it with water. So I might be guilty not finishing it sometimes. I had enough water throughout the fast tho.

So what ended up happening is me being extremely low energy and i obviously had to break the fast. I had some chicken stock which made my stomach a bit upset. I feel still pretty tired today, can’t really do much of any physical activity.

My SW: 132lbs; CW: 126lbs. 5’4 So I lost about 6lbs, which is not that much compared to other people here. Do you know why that could be so?

Much appreciation for any advice or criticism

Answer

Yeah… at those stats, 6lbs is a pretty sizable difference (almost 5% of your whole body weight). If you don’t like taking your salts with water, you can also just bite the bullet and eat it dry or in one tiny salty shot. I find a lot of mildly salty water way more gross than one oz of very salty water, YMMV.
