I don’t mean this in a negative way at all, but there are some really basic fundamentals I’d recommend you brush up on. It doesn’t seem like you understand the basic concepts and underlying principles of time management as it relates to fasting.
In short your answer is…Skip breakfast and have your protein shake at noon. Your dinner at 6 pm. You just did an 18 hour fast and had a 6 hour eating window.
Yeah anything over 10-15 calories at a time is going to break your fast. Having green tea, for example, has 2 calories in a cup, but that isn’t going to mess it up unless you maybe chugged a gallon.
You’re basically shooting yourself in the foot by eating in the morning and at night because you’re only fasting 11-12 hours at a time.
First, it’s 23/1 or 12/12, or whatever. The numbers add up to 24.
One number is how many hours you fast, the other is the hours you eat.
People commonly start 16/8 because it’s less difficult to adhere to initially.
Eventually, many people get to one meal a day, because it’s easy by a certain point, and from there people sometimes incorporate multi day fasts.
Exactly what type of fast you do ultimately comes down to your goals and what you find sustainable.
