where are the progress pics?

Lots of folks on this sub talk about their dry fasting results, and I’m all for it. After all, water fasting sounded crazy to me ten years ago, and now I’m getting interested in dry.. The problem is no one on this sub posts results pictures. Talking about looking younger, flatter stomach, etc.. but where’s the proof? Where are the before and after pictures? It just seems weird that no one posts those, since I mostly look to that content to validate testimony and motivate myself..

Im working on some scar progress pics that I plan to post though I’ve never done it before. I’m relatively new to dry fasting too as I just started last month*.

After one 5 day and two 70-80 hr dry fasts:

I’ve lost 19 lbs of fat, not including water weight.

The hard tissue under my surgery scars are gone. No photo evidence, as you couldn’t see it, but those hard knots under my skin are gone.

Im surprised at this but I really think my stretch marks are shrinking. I’m going to attempt to do progress pics here too.

I appreciate before and after pics very much. Personally, I not really a fan of taking pics let alone posting them on the internet, but that’s just me.

* I started my first 5 day dry fast last month after doing several extended water fasts (longest 11 days) and only doing one 24 hr dry fast before.

r/fasting has some. Obviously not dry fasting but results will be similar. Keep in mind, they can do longer periods of fasting

Just don’t mention dry fasting in there or they’ll ban you. Speaking from experience.

Personally I wouldn’t post pics just because I am a private person and don’t want that out. So I can see why a lot of people also wouldn’t want to share stuff. Not everyone is comfortable sharing pics of their body with the internet even if you X out the face or whatnot. But I get what you mean about wanting to see “proof”.

I’m using DF primarily for weight loss and I’m hoping to not have lots of loose skin when I finish. There are also other issues I would like to heal through DF. I have taken “before” pictures and I take progress pictures every 10-15 kg I lose. I’m taking the pictures to keep track of the changes and to motivate myself. Some days I’m thinking that I’ll post the pictures here, other days I’m not so sure about it. I expect to be at a healthy weight by the end of August, which is when I plan to post the pictures if I decide to go through with this.
