It feels like it would be useful to have more useful content.
If you sort by new, it’s almost always questions from people who want to start but not read or have started and want to find out how to cheat because they’re hungry.
There’s a lot of progress pics too, because people are proud of themselves.
I sort by new because I like telling people it’s easy to get used to black coffee, and that yes, steak sandwiches break a fast.
It’s not. There are a lot of actual questions today.
While there are quite a few progress posts, it’s not even the majority of posts here. I have noticed that when someone posts one, others seem to post theirs, too. But it’s not as many as you seem to think there are.
Because it works! 💖 This is the easiest I’ve ever lost weight /inches. Plus the sustainability of it is so much easier. I’ve never stuck with a “diet” for more than two months before, next week will be 4 months that I’ve fasted at least 12 hours a day, and usually 16-46 hours. There’s only 4 days that I didn’t fast at least the bare minimum. I’m waiting until I hit my next mini goal to post progress pics, but when I do, I’m gonna celebrate it!
I love progress pics. They keep me going.
IF is pretty simple and there are a ton of resources here, too. If you don’t like progress pics, scroll on, friend, as I do after someone asks about sweeteners for the 992nd time
You can always ask OP of progress pics for additional info about their routine, or read the comments. I believe that’s quite helpful. If you’re looking for more science to back it up, there’s quite a number of research online. I think it’s just more helpful for people to actually see progress and not just talk about it. And as the others said, there are discussions here too. They just don’t show up often because of the upvotes, I guess.
