Because frequent fasting isn’t “cleaning your body out”. Frequent fasting is terrible for you. Your body works hard to keep itself clean and functioning and that requires a lot of energy. When you fast you starve your body of energy at all levels. Glycogen from your muscles is one of the last things your body will start depleting, but if needed it will. If your body isn’t getting enough energy your skin will sag, your muscles will become much squishier. You will lose that healthy/fit look, especially if you continue for longer periods/more frequently. Fasting doesn’t force your body to “flush itself out”. It’s actually the opposite. Your body will stop efficiently ridding itself of waste because that’s not necessary energy at the moment. It will actually cause more issues in your system with the excess waste your body will ignore while it uses your limited energy for necessary tasks to keep yourself alive.
