Will consuming these break a fast?

So, occasionally I have a slight cough (given that it’s winter) and I hate drinking tea. One easy solution I found is this throat lozenges. The nutritional information are as follows

Table of Nutritional Information

Per 100 g:

Energy 977 kJ /235 kcal

Fat 0g

of which Saturates 0g

Carbohydrate 97.5 g

of which Sugars 0.1 g

of which Polyols 97.4 g

Protein 0.1 g

Sal t0.03 g

Now, one pack is only 32 grams, and it contains around 10 of them.

I do 16/8 fasting, so Will consuming like 2 of these from the moment I wake up, up to my lunch time, break my fast?

Answer

Generally speaking the answer is yes… but you could always test it to see how it effects you personally. Each person’s body reacts differently to various amounts of food/supplements. However, I’d approach it with the expectation of your fasting results being diminished.
