Anyone here that has done 12 days water fast? Which day do you think was the worst day? And how did you make the fasting easier?

Answer

On day 16, and I’d personally put days 4-7 as the worst due to the low energy. Day 2 is typically the worst hunger-wise, but I’ve since gotten used to being hungry. It’s the boredom that arises from having no energy all day that really makes it a struggle, just makes me crave food even more.

But after that my energy has slowly improved day after day and I’ve felt fine for the last few days now.

Answer

I’m on day 7 atm, I’ve done a few 10-14 day ones. It’s usually days 1-3 that are hardest, especially if you’re not in keto already. Cravings die after that. Also if you over due a cardio workout or strength training, you recover much slower.

As a side note, I’m already low on the bodyfat totem (sub 15% and male). While right control is a benefit, I do it more for autophagy or if I had an over indulgent month. Fasting at lower bf is different than when you’re 25% +, from personal experience
