Started on Monday 2 weeks ago. Primarily looking for what you guys eat when you want to break the fast. I intend to stop Thursday or Friday.
One traditional way is orange juice. Half OJ, half water on first day, ramp up to 100% OJ later days. Take it slow. Re-feeding is the most delicate (dangerous) part of fasting. Everything tastes delicious! And hunger returns! It’s easy to overeat and get stomachache. Don’t ask how I know.
I never made it to 15 days, but I’m a skinny guy. Fasted maybe 10 times in my life.
Is this your first prolonged fast? Did you do anything to prepare for it mentally and physically? Any tips for dealing with temptations? Also, do you mind sharing your statistics? Thanks and well done.
