30 lbs in 30 days challenge

Hey guys! I’m not new to fasting but definitely fell off for a short period and I’m hopping back on to straighten myself out! Unfortunately I didn’t really track my weight loss the last time and how fast it was, so I was hoping I could get some feedback. I just remember it being great! With my restart, I’m letting an upcoming trip be my motivation/push to get me back in the game!

Do you guys think it’s possible to lose 30lbs in 30 days with rolling 72s and 500 cal refeeds? I’m 5’1, F, 160 lbs. my refeeds are typically low carb, high fat.

Thanks!

Maybe but not super likely bc you aren’t that overweight. Like if you were 100lbs overweight sure. It is most likely you can lose that first 20lbs but that last 10 lbs will be a struggle. Go for it, drink your snake juice and monitor yourself closely. Heck you will lose 5 ish the first week due to the loss of water weight. Don’t feel too discouraged by the scale. Use other metrics like clothes fit and energy levels. Good luck. I’m going to do a 20 day fast when I get back from vacation.

Adding “challenge” to this screams unhealthy and potentially dangerous. Weight loss is best when done at a consistent, stable rate that is able to be maintained. Fasting can certainly fast track that for you, but don’t hurt yourself, please. Dont wanna see you on chubby Emu’s channel

Setting up impossible goals leads to quitting. So set a realistic goal, with no expectations besides some fat loss. Try a 3 day fast, you will likely lose at least 5 pounds. Even experienced, you’re not used to it right now. It didn’t take 30 days to gain that weight, so respect the timeline and do something sustainable. You fasted before, if you were lower than you are now, why wasn’t it sustainable to keep it off? Or to lose it all if you haven’t been lower than now?
