30lbs in 21 days

Hi do you think I can loose 30lbs in 21 days if I dry fast for 14 and water fast for the rest of the 7 days I’ve dry fasted before longest I’ve done is 6 days and longest water fast I’ve don’t is 12 My friend dry fasted for 14 days and it’s really inspired me

Or I was thinking doing 7 day dry then 3 day water then 7 day dry again so and so is that better

Any help or advice in the comment will be much appreciated <3

Answer

You can expect to lose anywhere from 2-4 pounds per day depending on your current weight, age, height, and activity level - as well as previous diet. You can expect to gain back 5-15 pounds (depending on how much you lost) when you go back to drinking water / refeeding. After about 2-4 weeks in my experience I lose the weight back and my weight settles pretty close to my lowest if you continue a healthy lifestyle. For water fasting around .5-1.5 pound per day depending, less gain once refeeding but still expected.

Answer

Just a heads up. First 10 lbs you lose will be water weight and glycogen at a 1-3 ratio.

Given that a lb of fat is about 3500 calories. you can expect to lose about .75lbs of fat a day after that. Don’t push it.

Answer

Whats your starting weight and approx body fat %? Lots of benefits to dry but dry and water fasting make no difference if your goals are weight loss only. Water is 0 calorie. If you check the r/fasting sidebar they’ll give you an indepth explanation.
