I wanted to give ADF a try but I just need to know what foods and calories should I be eating?
Atm I weigh 116kg, I’m 30 and male. Stepped on the scales that informed me my resting calories are 2488. I work out 5-6 times per week doing a push pull split and low intensity cardio thrown in once in a while.
From reading around on here I’ve been told my calories should be 1.5 times my Daily calories which would take it up to 3732.
I am experienced in prolonged water fasting, always worked really well for me doing 7 day water fasts or 7 day dirty water fasts. But I’d love to try something like this as long as I was losing a decent amount of fat.
Any tips?
Note: I will be eating from 12-8 on feeding days so it will be 36 hour fasts then 8 hour feeding.
Um, I eat somewhere between my TDEE and BMR. I don’t eat 1.5 the calories I need in a day. 🤷♀️
I eat what my body needs one day. Then the next day, I let my body get what it needs off my extra body fat.
I like to think long term. If you get used to eating 1.5 x’s your needs on eating days, your training yourself to over eat. Ymmv, but I’ve seen it happen to others.
