I am doing an after Christmas fast between now and New Year’s Day. Anyone else trying to meet a goal by 2023? I’m 285 trying to get to below 280.
I started fast #3 tonight.
Planning water only for 5 days until Dec 30.
I’m 254 now, hoping to be at 245 by NYE but will be happy if I’m below 250.

I’ve done 14 day and 21 day in the past. I slacked off recently so I started a “Christmas -> New Years” reset. Hopefully I get to New Year’s Day and decide to keep it going, if not I’ll be happy with reaching the New Years goal.

I am on my first ever intentional fast. Started Saturday night and trying for 5 days. Probably should have gone keto first but oh well. Surprisingly okay, 40 hours in, 80 to go. My goal is mostly to see if I can do it, give my digestion a rest, reset my sweet tooth (I gave up sugar for a year and then it crept back after Halloween, surrounded by candy); and drop a few lbs, though at my height/weight/age/TDEE of c.1450 calories I expect actual fat loss to be about 1.5 lbs, hopefully visceral fat.
