Finished my 7 days of water fasting 48 hours ago, broke it with some juice, followed by some fruits like avacado, melons, kiwi, strawberry. I took some bread & non-sugar low fat greek yogurt the next morning, and was feeling okay. Afternoon, I took more bread and some porridge, nothing special. Now I’m on a dinner with my friends and really wanna eat some burgers & crabs (I love crabs!!) but I was worried….Could anyone tell me if it’s okay??
No! Don’t have a big meal. You need to be calorie restricted for at least five days. RFS is very rare but it can happen.
You should see a doctor right away for advice on re-feeding.
Don’t panic. You’ll probably live.
But… from now on, just don’t fast longer than four days.
