If I could choose to consume only 2 or 3 types of seeds, which should I choose that have the most proven, all round benefits?
Currently I am considering flax and chia seeds.
Depends on your diet. Chia seeds are rich in omega 3, fatty acids. These are found in fish and dry nuts usually. So if you don’t eat much fish for example, chia is probably the most beneficial one you can use.
Have a look at the nutritional value of each seed and see what you need the most.
Also some seeds are more useful than others. Chia seed make for a great pudding too!
You could add pumpkin (zinc) and hemp. I consume pumpkin, flax and chia daily. I eat sesame pretty regularly. I also eat walnuts and Brazil nuts daily. Almonds pretty regularly. I’m an ultra-runner who has coached marathon runners if that means anything to you.
