Helo I am a 161cm 27M previously weighing 106,7Kg before my fasting (but I am pretty muscular, so my BF was arround 40%). Always had trouble controling weight and gained about 15-20kg during the 2 years of the fucking lockdown. I have done frquent 48h and 3 72h fasting in the last 6 months. I realize that counting calories is not doing it for me, so I decided to change my strategy.
I just did a 7 day (mostly) water only fasting. During this time I only drinked water with electrolytes (snake juice), 1-2 cups of black coffee in the morning and some low calories chewing gun when I was too hungry (so always eating <20kcal/day). Today morning I was weighing 97,8kg and there is still a couple of hours before I break my fast at 19h at the dinner. I know most of that weight if water but if at least 5-4kg of that stays away, I ll be very happy! I am going to update after 3, 7 and 14 days, afterwards I am decided to do another 7 days fasting.
Hunger was not that bad, it was worse during the first 1-3 than it got better. Today I am feeling pretty hungry but I think it is moslty in antecipation of finally eating something. Skin got much better, I am regularizing my sleep routine, and stoped drinking alcohol (I was drinking 1/2 of wine everyday, and I realize it is not really god for me). I also feel a lot more calm. I didn’t exercise exept 20-30min of slowpaced dogwalking. I work as usual.

Small update: I ended my fast 1:30 short by ordering a full pizza. Before I eneded the fast I was 98,1kg. Today was the day I felt the greatest amount of hunger during the fast because I was all the time antecipating dinner time. I consider that 6d22h30min is enough and I am quite happy about my acomplishment.

I ate 6 out of 8 (because my sister ate the other two, otherwise I would have certainly eaten all off it) slices of a four cheese and portuguese (ham, cheese, onions, eggs and olives) pizza. I know this not recomended way to end a fast, but I just couldn’t control myself.
I will try to eat moderatly for two weeks maybe doing a 36-48h fasting (I work in shifts and the best time to fast for me is during work) during those weeks and hit the gym to prevent muscle atrophy. Then, I intend to two another 7 days of fasting.
Update 2: A few hours eating the pizza I ate a small bowl of fish soup. I woke up today feeling great weight is 100,8kg so a lot water gain immediattly after ending the fast. Today I ate a generous portion of chicken breat, beans and mashed potatoes for lunch. I work 24h shifts 19H sat-sun so I ll make the usual 48h fasting I do on a weekly basis (from sat lunch to monday lunch) and make an update afterwards.
