Hello everyone. Merry Christmas. I’m having a lot of issues deciding what to eat after my fast. I can’t do keto coz I love my rice. But I don’t have the full feeling after just eating salad or oatmeal. I need all the energy I can get between work and kids. What did you guys eat during IF please share .
This won’t answer your question directly but. Anything with good source of protein (high) and some carbs (minimal) to give me the feeling of eating a good meal I personally don’t like the feeling of heavy food but I guess some good examples are yogurt, chicken, fruit. Glass of milk or of course choccy milk. Something light that I would normally eat if given time was a chicken salad enough to satisfy the hunger or tame it.
With IF, it’s not about what you eat but when. How long are your fasting/eating windows, and what are your goals? If a goal is weight loss, you have all the energy you need. Unlock it through fasting. If your fasting window is between 12-20 hours, you don’t need to worry about what to eat when it’s time to eat. At first, eat whatever you wish. Then naturally look for nutrient-dense, organic whole foods.

I do fasting and I don’t touch processed foods. That’s just it. No oats, rice, what you said. Lots of meat, eggs, soup and vegetables. I feel full all the time and sometimes it’s hard to eat! Which is a good thing. It means your body is satiated.
I can live on healthy salads with poached chicken. I add corn and avocado. I need carbs so small amounts are ok - even jasmine rice, couscous or brown rice. Sweet potatoes. Tofu and bok choy, homemade soups. Eggwhite omlwttes with veggies and a little cheese, cirn tortillas, salsa. You can lose weight eating any healthy food.
