Help please!!!! Mental block

Starting my fast tonight!!! For the millionth time it seems and the longest I’ve ever gone was 72 hours but rarely go longer than 24 hours before I cave!!!

I need this for my health and weight loss!! I have such a mental block and could use any tips or tricks or advice to help me stick with this!!! My goal is 5 days with a refeed keto style then another fast after!!!

People can give you all sorts of tricks and hints, but at the end it all depends on your determination and self control. Shorten your goals, make sure that you can do 24 a few times, then gradually increase.

I like to get on here and read through comments. I read articles on autophagy and HGH, and the knowledge usually motivates to keep going. Understanding the science behind it can help conceptualize why you need to keep going… or break your fast.

I’m no expert, but that helps me.

Try to remember how you felt after you gave up at the 24 marker, when you were once again well-fed and looked back on the experience. Remember the shame and regret you felt. Keep that perspective in mind when you’re tempted to give up. Imagine your future self looking back on you at that moment and remember the feeling. Use it as motivation.
