I’m 78 hours in and I have heartburn and I’m craving a cold glass of ice water. I feel weak and I’ve had a migraine for hours
The physical detox symptoms can be brutal or even dangerous depending on how hydrated you are going into the fast, how toxified your body and blood is going into the fast and how backed up your colon and digestive system is with food residue and mucus when you begin the fast.
One thing that I’ve been applying before all my fasts longer than 2 days now is having only raw fruit at least 4 days before starting a dry fast. I’ll have solid, raw, watery fruits 5 days before the dry fast, then for next four days leading up to the dry fast Ill have no solid food/fruit and only have a 2-4 liters of freshly squeezed orange, lime and lemon juice and fresh coconut water everyday. I’ve found doing this clears out a great amount of food residue and mucus before the dry fast and also puts me into a state of soft detox during these 5 days so when I start the dry fast I have already got a fair amount of purification out of the way and I feel it makes the dry fast easier and more effective.
