I am grateful for IF because it truly helps with emotional eating to have a cut off time.

Last night I came back home from hard day at work. Dinner took me about 30 minutes to cook but once I began to eat, I could tell I was in somewhat of a binge mode to cope with stress. I let myself eat extra but thankfully my cutoff time came up and I had to stop because my motivation for IF is larger than that.

I can totally relate to this. I allow myself upto 4-5 hours (or less) to eat and hitting that “fast” button immediately stops me from overeating. I find IF a great way to control my eating otherwise I could trough everything in sight! 🤣

This has also been a surpising benefit for me, too! I used to binge-eat and also eat when stressed, but now I’m like, “welp, it’s already 7:30, I can’t” and it made it so easy?? I thought IF would be so hard in that regard, but it helped create an On and Off switch in my head that I never had before.

Tbh I reached my goal weight a long time ago. I do IF sporadically when I feel like my eating is getting out of control. I can easily spiral into binging or grazing all day. The IF kind of puts on the breaks. It’s a reset. 3 days in a row of IF is really all it takes. Such a good tool.
