Neither, 40hr works best for me.
I’m enjoying fasting, but I also like eating. I’m also not hungry in the mornings. For me the best is to start a fast after dinner, wake up the next morning not hungry, fast for the day and go to bed. The next morning I’m not that hungry early on so it is easy enough to push it until lunch. That gives me a 40 hour fast followed by an 8-hour window where I can have 2 full meals before doing it again.
For weight loss: I enjoy 3 rounds of - 48 hours Eating OMAD on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday/Sunday Occasionally I like doing 3-days, depending my days. You know life isn’t perfect. I don’t think it’s necessary to go past 3 days for weight loss but it does get easier after that
I’ll do intermittent fasting daily and then every 4-6 months I’ll go for a 7-11 days fast. I should mention, I do this for chronic illness. I couldn’t really do a weeks long fast without preparation, if I could fast every day I would because the benefits are crazy.
