I Googled a bit, but the results I got were bit sketchy. I wondering if the community can offer any reliable info.
Thanks
Just do it. Do what you can to avoid being in close proximity to food. Avoid Facebook videos so you don’t see those clips where they’re drowning tacos in cheese or something.
If you have to cook for family cook meals in advance so you can just heat them before meal times. Cook meals that the family likes but you could do without so you’re not tempted to taste them.
I used to do them strictly with just straight up water. Snake juice gave me a headache. Now I’m a little more lenient allowing myself to have 2 cups of coffee with heavy cream a day. Just found out heavy cream won’t break a fast.
I second just do it. The more you do it the easier it gets. I stick to a carnivore diet (mostly) but deviated Sunday night for some tacos el pastor at our favorite restaurant. I knew I’d regret the hot sauce, but did it anyway. After I got through Monday’s intestinal distress I just decided to roll on without food for a while. Still going, but I’ll probably be done at noon today to eat lunch with my wife.
