I find it’s easier to fast on holidays because alot of the time I’m just taking it easy. Low energy requirements. Just chilling and relaxing around and that’s it.
So true! I work a fairly active job (average around 12,000 steps a day), but since I’ve been off, fasting has been way easier. I’m also only getting like 3,000-5,000 steps a day, so it makes sense. Dr. Jason Fung mentions this phenomenon in his book “The Obesity Code”!
I don’t! We’ve been eating stuff that’s not in our normal rotation like desserts and tons of carbs. But I’ve been doing IF for 14 months and have taken less than 10 days off during that time so I’m not going to be hard on myself and will fit in a few longer fasts in January.
