Need some advice on limitations

I am going to start my 1st water fast tomorrow. I’m aiming for 7days. I’m doing it to lose weight but also for mental clarity kind of a mind reset. I know most people say that a true fast is water only. My goal is a gallon a day. But my problem is I have a hard time drinking plain water. Would it be detrimental if I added 1 Crystal light sugarfree to that gallon of water for the 1st few days then transition to water only. Any advice is appreciated

I personally feel it increases your want for food when you hit those hunger pangs. There really is not a need to drink a gallon of water unless you are planning on working out or have a really physically demanding job. 2 or 3 points should do….just take a few gulps whenever your body tells you its thirsty.
