newbie question

On a 16/8 system, how strict do you have to be on the 16 portion. Will a cup of milk in my coffee in the morning destroy it?

Also how long do the hunger pains last for?

During your fasting period: no calories. During your eating window eat healthy well defined meals with no processed foods/substances. Black coffee with a pinch or two of full spectrum salt will help your hunger pangs. Those pangs will lessen once you become more fat adapted. Once you are more fat adapted the pangs become very faint and are normally based on past eating times, ie breakfast lunch dinner…

Answer

It depends on why you are fasting… Are you using IF to cut out snacking in order to lose weight… If so note that a cup of milk has 100 calories. I look at it like this… If having milk or cream in your coffee makes your day 1000% better go for it… Just be sure to count those calories in your daily total.
