Dad here, have 2 small kids and I’ve been intermittent fasting for about a month. Wanted to start doing Keto OMAD but it’s hard to navigate with my kids. As it is now, I never eat breakfast with them and they notice.
Any other parents dealing with this? I want them to see healthy eating habits, not skipping meals. How can I OMAD but miss eating pretty much every meal with them?
Still be at the table. Drink that fine black coffee and converse. Still cook for them. They don’t care if you don’t eat… They just want time with you.
Edit: if they do notice you not eating, just say your work has free breakfast or something so they don’t worry.
