So I’m doing a 144 hour fast and I’m about 7 hours from my goal but after hitting the gym I’m feeling a little queasy and low energy. Is this an electrolyte intake situation or should I abort the fast and refeed?
Definitely listen to your body, I know it feels like a “failure” to not “reach” that hour goal, but you literally did 137hr fast! That’s a great accomplishment! You can always try again, it’s better to make sure you stay healthy and feel good during the process than reach an arbitrary number.
You did amazing btw, I can hardly reach 92hrs!
Are you monitoring your blood pressure and heart rate?
Is 144 hours a significant number in any way other than it’s the number you picked? Is there any real, tangible benefit to be received by pressing on? Or are you just trying to avoid being disappointed in yourself?
