Good luck first off! Also if it’s your first time IF I would recommend a less extreme time frame like 18-6. I have been using the 18-6 coupled with the carnivore diet (even though I sprinkle sautéed veggies in there), and I am now 232lbs. I was 295 in November.

Just gotta make sure the diet is as clean as you can afford and that your fasting time frame is something you can stay consistent with. Those are really the most important parts. It feels bad to fast for 21 hours just to eat like trash. Not saying that’s what you’re going to do but just speaking from experience.

If you want to do some like cardio work I strongly recommend it! Walking after dinner for at least a half mile was perfect for me. Then once you build up a good routine you can hit the workouts hard.

You are starting where I did. Also 6’ 7” with SW of 360. Had an initial goal weight of 275. Thought once I got there all is good. Honestly didn’t see much of a change physically although I did feel better.

Did CICO exclusively for the first 6 months the found IF. Dabbled with 16/8 and then pretty much 18/6 with a few OMADs thrown in. Longest was 48 hours, that was rough in the end but felt like an accomplishment when it was done.

Pushed on to 250, then 220, then 200, and finally settled at 195 and it feels right. Still Doing IF, have a personal goal of 1000 consecutive fasts. I’m at 796 now…almost there.

In the end it’s a lifestyle now and I cannot imagine returning to how and what I ate before this. Once you get comfortable with your process it will become natural. I wish you the best.
