Starting my 7 day fast tomorrow

Hi all,

Looking forward to starting my 7 day fast tomorrow!

After much advice (and mild telling off! πŸ˜…) on my last post, I’ve decided to simply stick to water, electrolytes, herbal teas and black coffee.

My questions are… What electrolytes are best (I’m in the UK)? Is green tea okay? Is magnesium beneficial to take everyday?

Is flavoured sparkling water also okay, or should I avoid?

I am with you to start a 7 day on the new year. All the things you listed are ok as far as I know (assuming the flavored sparkling water is zero calorie). Not sure about everyone else, but magnesium upsets my stomach sometimes if I take the recommended dose at once. I normally split it up half in the morning and half in the evening.Good luck with the fast and Happy 2022!

Youre going to need more than that. Get some Lo Salt for potassium, sea/pink salt for sodium and make some snake juice.

I alter the recipe on side bar to 1/2tsp pink salt 1 tsp lo salt and 1/2 tsp baking soda for taste preferance. This is per 2ltr of water. If you feel dizzy up the salt slightly. I usually crunch some course sea salt if that happens. Also this recipe tastes better when ice cold.

When I fast I dont drink plain water just this from day 1 and 2 coffees.
