Time frame for early results?

I am two weeks into a 18/6 fasting. I eat lunch at noon and dinner by 5 so by 6 I am done for the day.

My weight is seeming to hold steady, I am seeing lower morning blood sugars. How long before you typically start seeing results.

My eating is like all proteins and fat, maybe 20 grams a day of carbs. I am still taking Lantus 2x a day of 30 units and Humalog at meals, typical 5 to 8 units.

It honestly took me a while to start seeing results. I started with 15/9 and I’m now at 18/6.

What I’ve found that works well for me is eating my biggest meal first when possible and just a granola bar or an apple with peanut butter with juice or milk for my last meal. It seems to help keep me full the longest and, surprisingly at this point I don’t suffer with hunger until maybe my last hour or two and even then it’s usually pretty mild.

I have a friend that eats a small snack to start with and then a bigger meal just before fasting.

But I’d say it took me a month or two to physically see a difference. And the third week was the worst one for me. But I also wasn’t planning to lose weight quickly. I gave myself a year to lose 40lbs.

Impossible to say, everyone is starting from different places, eating different foods in different amounts.

Just keep making good food decisions at every meal, and no snacking. The results will happen
