I’ve been stuck at the same weight for the past 4 days and I am getting extremely annoyed. Why is this happening? I was dropping pounds quickly but not anymore…
In addition to the body fat, a lot (and I mean a lot) of the weight you dropped in the beginning was just water, and it seems that you have picked some of it back up again. Just stay the course, and don’t become obsessed with the numbers on the scale.
100% it’s water retention. I’ve had a couple points in my current 18 day fast where I’ve been stuck for 1-2 days and then my weight snapped down. It’s literally impossible to eat nothing and not burn fat, so don’t be discouraged. The weight IS coming off, but especially if you are properly supplementing electrolytes you WILL retain water (a good thing). Keep going and I guarantee the scale will continue to drop.
