Herbal tea? Matcha? Yerba mate? Kefir? Wheatgrass juice?
Coconut water, water kefir (wouldn’t really class dairy kefir as a normal drink), ginger tea, chamomile tea, ACV water (for some). A pretty small list but I see these as things with almost 0 negatives (imo)
For athletes, believe it or not, sports drinks (like Gatorade) are one of the best things you can consume during prolonged exercise (sessions >2 hours). These drinks are intelligently formulated, being about 5-8% glucose (which isn’t so high that gastric emptying is significantly delayed) to replenish glycogen, enough sodium to prevent hyponatremia from sweating, and water to rehydrate. As a cyclist who’s “bonked” more than a few times (we all have), I can say these beverages, which I would never drink during my normal daily life, have saved my butt more than a few times.
Not pretty sure why but my nutricionist recommended me a cup of water in the morning with a spoon of apple cider vinegar, i guess it helps to activate your metabolism or something, ‘cause I have to drink it first thing in the morning
I agree with many here!

Also, not really healthy but, if you are like me, and like to mix up the beverages, I mix water (50% or more) + juice, or lemonade, etc.
…and I refer to that as “juicy water” my toddler didn’t know “juice” was a thing for years. Haha
I was a strictly water and coffee gal (would indulge in OJ every blue moon…) until my daughter’s pediatrician recommended coconut water for breastfeeding. Now, I’m hooked! Delicious and so hydrating! I buy the Costco brand which unfortunately contains sugar (would rather no added sugars…) but I make an exception while nursing.
If you can tolerate it, high quality milk and kefir are by far the healthiest. The highest quality protein available, good omega 3 balance, and insane amounts of almost every nutrient your body needs. Best to drink raw milk. Saying tea is better than milk is ridiculous, milk actually has the essential nutrients your body needs, tea has only antioxidants.
I mostly think green tea, it’s much more higher in polyphenols than other drinks such as smoothies. It’s extremely healthy for you due to the you know, greenery in it. The major polyphenols in green tea are flavonoids, the most active of catechins and epigallocatechin gallate. Therefore I think green tea :)
