When should I see results?

Hi, long time lurker here - some time last year I gained 40lbs and went from weighing 160lbs to just under 200lbs (some of this was muscle gain but mostly fat if I’m being honest).

For the last 3 weeks I’ve been doing the 16:8 IF, as well as walking at least 5 miles a day and as of last week spending an hour in the gym working out pretty intensely but there doesn’t seem to be any change on the scale or when I look at my body.

I’m eating less than 2000 calories on most days, I’m a vegetarian and I’m burning more than 300 calories a day from exercise. Can anyone help? None of the other help threads that I’ve looked through have really been helpful to my issue.

Answer

Also just as a side note, in my experience it definitely takes longer than 3 weeks to really see results. I’ll see less bloating and some of the puffiness go down depending on what I was up to before restarting my healthy eating jawn, but three weeks isn’t that much time unless to see results unless you’re doing an extreme deficit you know
