Why is OK to ignore daily protein reqs on 72s, but not 24s(OMAD)?

Whenever I am reading about people who do OMAD / 23hour fasts, they always mention about how important it is to meet your protein / ratio goals. Basically, combine all the nutrition you’re supposed to eat that day into 1 giant meal.

However, when were talking about doing like 72 hour fasts for example … we often only have a small 400-500 calorie meal that usually consists of a little bit of steam chicken and broccoli. Then it’s right back into another 72 hour fast.

So my question is, why is it important to get all your calories / protein / ratios etc. correct when doing 23 hour fasts and eating one meal a day. But when it comes to longer fasts, it doesn’t seem to matter anymore?

Hmmm… Don’t think its important at all, everyone just does their own thing… LOL

Do whatever works for you, obviously the healthier and cleaner you eat, the better, the more you pay attention to the details, then obviously the better you’ll do, but again, it’s more of a personal choice. OMAD or 72s, it’s always “important” but to each their own.

I was doing 2 day refeeds and eating crap with good food, still seeing results. At the end, I think CICO is still a big part of any diet 🤷‍♂️
